A brand new Mary Kay Pink Cadillac (Melissa Olivarez) chauffeured a fluffy white bunny hanging out the sunroof, around the neighborhood, hyping up the families as they walked to the BIG Hunt. The littles were very excited to see the bunny (Kelly White)! As the bunny got out of the sweet pink caddy, many littles came in for long loving hugs. It was an "awwwwe" out loud moment. I felt bad breaking up the love fest, but the line for photos was deep & the kids were beyond eager to be released on the hunt! The bunny hopped around too! One age group after another, they had their head starts, and within 10 minutes the ground was bare of the 5000+ brightly colored eggs, filled with treats and treasures. You could see many families sitting on the fresh lawn (Premier Lawn & Landscaping), opening their finds, golden eggs being discovered, prizes to be collected, and recycling the eggs for next season's hunt in a nearby bin. It was a true success! So many happy faces. I love our neighborhood and this event always brings me joy! Amazing volunteers (GVHS community service credit) and many others helped to bring this hunt together. It was fun to hide 5000 eggs and get the party ready for the hundreds of people who showed up to be a part of the magic. Organizing this event for the past 7-8 years, we try to make it just a touch better each time. Very proud of how it came together. - Heather Dixon Here are incredible photos taken of our Annual Rosewood Hills Egg Hunt, by our very own Shana Philbrick (Philbrick Photography).

If you would like to join a committee to get involved, please let us know, we would love your support. Committees are as follows:

We need volunteers to help get the pool furniture out of the shed, power wash, plant flowers, and more to get ready for the 2021 pool season! We are really excited to spruce up the pool and have a wonderful summer. Two dates to help make swift work of the to do list. This Sunday 5.23 from 2-5 PM and Wednesday 5.26 from 5-7 PM to finish up if needed. Pool will open at 9 AM on 5.28 We have made more improvements to the pool this year. Upgraded the security system, new roof, fresh paint, and more. This is an excellent time to send us your high school students and teens to earn community service hours and help them take pride in our neighborhood. The more hands we have the faster the work gets completed. We will have community service sheets on site. It is really important that we address the teens that attend the pool unsupervised. If you have children that are 13-17 years old please send them to the pool on Sunday at 1:30 PM for a very short meeting and to activate their pool keys. Please send them with a pool key for their household. It is critical that we all understand the pool rules regarding etiquette (language and horse play), swim attire, and guest policy. Our pool is a Private Pool, not open to any other neighborhoods. We must put a stop to uninvited guests. This means not holding the door open for people that do not live here/ pay HOA dues. Understanding that ONLY adults may bring guests. We do not have a life guard on duty and do not offer a babysitting program at the pool. If you are interested in swimming lessons for any age or skill level please contact Christina Hensley @ 816.325.0274 Emails going out to all residents on file will have the pool rules attached. They are posted at the pool and also on the HOA website http://www.rosewoodhillshoa.com/community-pool.html Please contact Heather Dixon if you have any questions 816.721.7520 Call, Text, or Email rosewoodhills.hdixon@gmail.com The fall neighborhood garage sales will be held on Saturday, September 19th.
